Publication opportunities

1) ‎Publication with International Journal of Asia Pacific Studies (IJAPS), indexed with Scopus/ESCI

In collaboration with ICHAP 2025, International Journal of Asia Pacific Studies (IJAPS) welcomes selected high-quality papers as a regular submission, which will be considered for publication in a 2026 issue. This is contingent upon the journal's standard review process and adherence to its terms and conditions. Please note an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable upon acceptance of the article.

Those interested in a possible publication with IJAPS, please submit a formatted full-length paper (based on IJAPS submission criteria) for our initial review by 31 October latest and email us at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Before submitting to us your full-length paper, please ensure that: 

  1. a) The name(s) of the Author(s) must be the same as those published in the ICHAP programme book. No new names are allowed.

    b) The title of the article is the same as or very similar to the one published in ICHAP programme book.

Once reviewed, the ICHAP committee members will then advise whether your article is suitable. If found suitable, the article (and author(s)) will be recommended to the Editor-in-Chief of IJAPS. Author(s) may then proceed to submit the article via IJAPS website.

In the cover letter of your IJAPS submission, please state you are a participant of ICHAP 2025 in the heading and the content. A screenshot of your names and abstract in the ICHAP 2025 programme book should also be included in your letter.

2) Other journal publications

Alternatively, participants can submit their full papers to any of the journals below, based on their respective Aims and Scope. Please note an Article Processing Charge (APC) may be applicable.

3) Book Publication (with Springer / Routledge / USM Press)

ICHAP 2025 plans to publish a book with an international publisher (TBC- Springer, Routledge, or similar). This edited volume will engage with the theme of the conference: Intersections between the local and the global in the Humanities in Asia-Pacific. We invite scholars and researchers to submit abstracts that explore the theme through one of the following areas:

  1. Languages and Linguistics
  2. Literary Studies and Theory
  3. Translation and Interpreting Studies

Abstracts should be 300-350 words in length and must be submitted by 15 July 2025 to Dr. Kumaran Rajandran (This email address is being protected from spambots. Only accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full chapters for publication.
